Heritage Student Cording Ceremony

As part of commencement activities, the Mars Hill University alumni office recognizes heritage students with special cords to wear with their cap and gown regalia. Heritage students are students whose parents or other immediate family members are Mars Hill alumni. They are presented with their cords during a special ceremony prior to graduation—generally on the afternoon before spring commencement and the morning of December commencement.
