"Fool the Eye" is an exhibition of hyper-realistic paintings by Black Mountain artist Robert Tynes. These things in the artworks are NOT what you think they are! Come get your eyes and mind blown. Hours are 10–4 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, closed Tuesdays, Thursdays, weekends, and holidays. Admission is free.

The Town of Mars Hill will hold its Christmas parade at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023. The parade route begins at the intersection of N. Main St. and Bruce Rd., proceeds down Main St. to make a right turn on N.C. 213, then turns right on Athletic St., where the parade ends.
