(COVID-19) Spring Break Travel Survey

Notice to students, faculty and staff of MHU:

As we all depart for our Spring Break it is important that we consider the possibility of being exposed to both the flu and the emerging Corona Virus. While no Corona Virus cases have been reported in our area, we ask that all students, faculty, and staff consider adopting prudent personal hygiene practices to ensure you don’t bring the virus back to our campus. Careful attention to your personal health is important including good practices of washing hands frequently with soap and avoiding people who appear to have dry coughs, breathing difficulties, and/or high fevers. If you experience any of these symptoms, please isolate yourself and avoid contaminating others. If you elect to seek medical attention for your symptoms please report your symptoms to the medical facility you would visit before you arrive so they can prepare appropriately. To monitor the latest status, refer to the Center for Disease Control website. 

We are offering an opportunity for individuals of the Mars Hill University community to register through this form to indicate where they are traveling. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 activity and will provide appropriate information via text and email to individuals based on reported travel plans.
