Message to Students Regarding Residence Halls

Update: 3/16/2020

Good Morning Residents,

As many of you are aware, MHU is transitioning to online instruction until April 3, 2020. During this time the MHU campus will be closed.

We are aware that many of you will need to return to campus to gather your educational materials, medications and other personal items. All residents are asked to retrieve any needed items no later than Wednesday, March 18, 2020 by 5:00pm. After this time, residents will not have access to their residence halls due to the campus closure.

**While retrieving your items, please stop by the mailroom between 9am-12pm to pick up any mail or packages that you may have received. **

If you were approved to stay on campus during Spring Break and/or the extended Spring Break you will need to vacate campus no later than Friday, March 20, 2020 before 5pm.

If you have an extenuating, extreme hardship and need to stay on campus you will have to reapply to stay on campus during the closure. All requests are subject to review and approval. Submitting a request does not automatically grant approval. All approvals will be emailed to your MHU email account after the request has been processed. Please know that your safety is our priority which is why we are limiting access to campus. Requests to stay on campus must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Approval and denial emails will be sent out on the evening on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
