Professor Caudle has been teaching economics and related subjects for Mars Hill University since 1991. His focus is on helping students develop a curiosity about the world around them and the capacity to use economic frameworks to enhance their understanding of what they observe. His favorite classroom experiences evolve around connecting articles about current business or economic matters to the content of courses. For the past twenty years, he has also been involved in a wide variety of administrative work for the university. Current work focuses on development of business programs, administrative oversight of IT operations, and working with the President on developing and implementing strategies to enhance the effectiveness and vibrancy of the campus and university.
Grainger Caudle moved back to North Carolina after a decade spent in Colorado to care for a small mountain farm, where he lives with his wife Kelly, two boys, and plenty of animals. He has been involved with a number of nonprofits in the Madison County, and serves on several of their boards.
