Leigh Allen Guth considers herself “Mars Hill made” and is delighted to return to this most impactful campus as the Director of Alumni Relations.

The first generation off the farm, Leigh is a native of Williamston, North Carolina, and a 1990 graduate of Mars Hill University with a bachelor’s degree in history, French, and political science. She holds a master’s degree in multicultural education from American University in Washington, D.C. With a sincere desire to understand diverse voices, Leigh focused her career on building relationships, educating adults, and facilitating group process. Her audiences have included local government, nonprofits, war refugees, adults with disabilities, and the agriculture community through North Carolina Cooperative Extension.

Leigh and her college sweetheart, Brad Guth, consider themselves fortunate to return to Mars Hill with their twin daughters and rescue dog. She looks forward to reconnecting alumni with Mars Hill University and helping leverage the power of Mars Hill University alumni for the benefit of our university’s future.
