Profile

Rev. Stephanie McLeskey has served MHU as University Chaplain since 2011.  She was born and raised in the Atlanta area, but is happy to now call Mars Hill home.  She holds BA degrees in Sociology and Political Science and an MDiv from Emory University.  She is ordained in the Baptist tradition, and is endorsed as a chaplain by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  Her greatest love as a chaplain is to meet people where they are, walking alongside them and helping them as they discover their strengths and passions, learn about the world around them, and begin to live into their own callings.  Some of her greatest joys are found in the tremendous imagination of her daughter, the beauty of this place, music that moves the soul, words used well, and a good cup of coffee shared with anyone who happens by.
