Profile

Elizabeth Porter comes to Mars Hill with over 20 years of experience teaching economics, including at UNC Asheville, the University of Florida, and the American University of Afghanistan. She has over two decades of international field experience, working in areas such as market-based approaches to development, tropical agriculture, and international humanitarian assistance. She particularly enjoys working with undergraduate students, helping them to discover how economics intertwines with their everyday lives.
