Heritage Comes Home

On May 20, 2012, Mars Hill College’s Ramsey Center for Regional Studies, in partnership with the Madison County Arts Council, presented “Heritage Comes Home,” a one-night-only concert featuring Bryan Sutton, Jerry Douglas, Tim O’Brien, Dennis Crouch, and Casey Driessen.  The concert benefited the Bascom Lamar Lunsford Collection and the Southern Appalachian Archives in the Ramsey Center’s efforts to preserve the rich musical culture of Madison County. Concert proceeds matched a challenge grant from the National Endowment for Humanities for the preservation of these special archives.
